Loan F.A.Qs
Where do I make my loan payment?
Loan payments can be made at any ANB branch, in the drive-thru or inside. Please see our Contact Us page for addresses and business hours.
Do I have to have my payment coupon?
No. Your payment can be made with or without a coupon.
Can I make my payment on this website?
Yes. If you have an account with ANB and internet banking, you can make your payment within your internet banking account. If you have an account with ANB and do not have internet banking, please contact customer service and they can help you get an account set up. If you do not have an account with ANB there is currently not a process for you to make your payment on this site.
Can I make my payment over the phone with a check?
No. ANB does not accept check by phone payments at this time.
Can I make my payment with a credit card or debit card?
Yes. We accept Master Card and Visa. We will need your card number, expiration date, CVV (3-digit) security code (from the back of the card), and your signature. A card payment will deduct from your card immediately, however it takes two business days for the payment to be credited to your loan. If you are not available to come into the bank you can fill out the Credit Card Form and mail, fax, or email it to loans@amnat.com. *However for security purposes we do not suggest filling out the form completely if you are going to mail it. Please write only the last 4-digits of your card number and do not include the security code, you can give the rest to us by phone and it will still be accepted with your signature.*Please note your payment is not complete until we contact you and let you know it has been completed.
Can I have my loan payment taken from another bank?
Yes. It will come out automatically the same day each month. All we need to set you up is an ACH form filled out and a voided check from the account you would like it to come from.
Does American National Bank report to the credit bureaus?
Yes. ANB reports once a month to the credit bureaus during the life of the loan. When the loan is closed, it is reported one final time and the information does not change after this. Please remember it does take time for everything to be updated between all the agencies.
How do I see my credit report or what American National Bank has reported to the credit bureau?
By law you are allowed to receive a credit report free once a year. On the internet you can order a free annual credit report online at www.annualcreditreport.com. The phone number to Annual Credit Report is 1-877-322-8228, or you can mail a request to: Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281.
