Professional Experience

Mrs. Smith worked in the accounting department for a local family owned business before joining American National Bank in March of 1996 as an Administrative Assistant in Personal Trust. In March of 1998, Mrs. Smith was promoted to Trust Officer and then promoted to Vice President in March of 2001. She is currently serving as a Personal Trust Administrator as well as the IRA Specialist for the department. Mrs. Smith serves on the Trust Investment Committee as well as Chairperson of the Trust Real Estate Committee. Mrs. Smith recently graduated from the American Bankers Association’s National Graduate Trust School Level 2 and received her certification as a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.

Professional & Civic Activities

She is a graduate of Leadership Wichita Falls – Class of 2002, and has served on the Alumni Committee. She is actively involved as a Volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Smith serves a Director to the Board of the North Texas Estate and Financial Planning Council and is a member of the Teen Court’s Board of Directors. Mrs. Smith is also an active member of Resource of Wichita Falls as well as serving on the PTO board for Southern Hills Elementary School.
