Utopia Fitness + Training was established in 1997, in Mansfield, TX. Kent and Kimberly Laney purchased the family owned business in 2016. Kent is retired, which provides him all the time needed to manage the daily operations of the fitness center. Kimberly handles the bookkeeping aspects.
Their business moved into this new leased location in 2020.
In 2023 they were offered the opportunity to purchase the location and reached out to David Green and American National Bank & Trust for financing.
Utopia Fitness + Training has a 24-hour access to the facility along with boot camps and personal training. The owners offer free memberships to the Mansfield Police Department and a discounted rate to First Responders, Veterans and Seniors.
