Wichita Falls, Texas – March 19, 2026 – American National Bank & Trust is proud to announce the promotion of Paul Scheurer to Executive Vice President / Director of Correspondent Banking.
Paul began his banking career in August 2008 as a credit analyst at TIB, eventually advancing to underwriter and loan officer roles. In 2015, he joined the American National Bank & Trust team as the bank expanded its footprint into the DFW market. Over the past decade, Paul has been instrumental in supporting the bank’s growth through his deep experience in credit and relationship-driven service.

A graduate of Texas Tech University, Paul holds a degree in Finance. He is also active in the local community as a member of the Ridglea Country Club and several national outdoor recreation foundations and nonprofits.
Outside of the office, Paul is known for fully committing to his hobbies, which currently include tennis, hunting, archery, and fishing. While he enjoys these leisurely pursuits, he currently spends much of his time at home with his young daughter and family.
